STATEMENT 

“It’s work, the most important thing is work”

 connected with artistic expression from an early age. Playing my mother's piano, a concert pianist, I strayed without return into a parallel world much more akin to my nature.

In my hometown, Buenos Aires, I studied mainly music, fine arts and Argentinean tango but I consider myself a self-taught artist as I have shunned the standardisation of academic training and its credentials early on. 

As a being of action, my true formation is the result of constant study and practice, the experience of daily work in pursuit of excellence, never as a synonym of perfection, but as a reflection of my most honest singularity. 

My meagre practical capacity for life is compensated by strokes of providence, telepathy, protection from the gods and the gift of a disproportionate capacity for work that I honour very much in tune with a beastly dedication.

Without romanticising the medium, playing the piano, painting, dancing, creating performances or composing, are the various ways of pumping water from my source, my rich and subtle inner world. 

Grandson of immigrants, I set out young and without realising it, on my return journey. I spent the last 30 years between Hamburg and the island of La Gomera - the long fingers of their Ports - creating variety performances, dancing, painting and playing music.

At the moment I live in the wild in Valle Gran Rey, in front of a verdant grove of reeds and palm trees, the austerity of the surroundings favouring my introspection and my artistic development. Or so I tell myself, so comfortable in my private world (advantages of being basically a misfit).

I work daily in my Atelier, Marte Moderno, bringing to this plane glimpses of an underlying reality that struggles to emerge and inhabits me.
